Hi, I’m Annie!

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and lived there until I was 25 years old. In July of 2015, I used all my credit card points to buy a one way ticket to San Francisco and started my life in the Bay. I worked in tech and event marketing for a few years before switching full time to Ida Blooms in 2018.

I’m a foam-free florist with an affinity for “garden style” designs. That means most of my work looks natural — like it could grow in a garden. I utilize a lot of clustering, negative space, and very thoughtful floral varieties.

With a background in event planning, my strengths are in design mechanics and on-the-fly problem solving. I believe flowers should be a fun and stress-free part of your wedding day and I work hard to make sure it feels that way.

While I serve couples across the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, I’m based out of sunny Alameda, California (a suburb of Oakland). That’s where I live with my husband and our four-year-old son.

Most people laugh when I say this, but I really love love. I would be so honored to help celebrate yours.
