A glimpse into previous experiences with Ida Blooms
Annie returned to Greater Cincinnati to host this sold out workshop at The Frock. With 20 women in attendance, ages 25-60+, we flowered for ninety minutes with lots of colorful fall blooms. Students left with hand-made bouquets, and a new set of arranging skills!
In this workshop, five phenomenal ladies gathered at Jenny Lemons’ Mission Retail shop to learn the basics of flower arranging. In the two hour class, Ida Blooms walked students through centerpiece 101: how to work with floral foam, how to be resourceful with the leftovers (hiii boutonnieres!), and tips and tricks to make arrangements special. Light bites, lots of wine, and 20% of Jenny’s entire shop made the evening extra special!
For this live podcast recording at Mission Loft, a group of 25 rad women gathered for an evening of community, conversation and cannabis. Listen to That’s So Maven’s Season Four kick off for and interview with Dosist, and answers to all your cannabis questions: how it’s actually good for you and tips for getting started if you’ve never used cannabis before.
Ida blooms constructed a medium sized installation for the happy hour patio, and seven varied arrangements in Dosist’s classic white and green.
Ida Blooms launched into the world of corporate team building with Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP. The class was so popular, we hosted it twice! With 10-15 employees at each workshop, the ninety minute classes were a hit.
This afternoon of outdoor yoga, hosted by YogaSidekick and Gal Collective, also featured a variety of wellness brands and local vendors including doTerra, kovikai, Nourish Cafe, Curie and many more.
Ida Blooms installed a fun and airy carnation wall to act as a backdrop in the open space.
To celebrate ABC’s Bachelorette Finale, Ida Blooms teamed up with Bumble BFF and Hint Water for a viewing party and Rose Bar. Over 45 BFFs showed up to arrange bouquets, drink spritzers, and watch Becca find love.
At this curated networking event hosted by Six Degrees Society SF, 20+ local influencers learned about Dosist – one of Fast Company’s most innovative companies of 2018. Dosist manufactures the dose pen, a vaporization pen delivering a precise 2.25 MG of your chosen Dosist formula.
Ida Blooms was the floral vendor, arranging six on-brand table arrangements in Dosist’s signature green and white.
The Lonely Bouquet is an international project meant to spread love among strangers. With a signature "take me" or "adopt me" card, you can leave a bouquet somewhere in the city for an unsuspecting stranger to find. The stranger might take it. They might leave it. They might pass it on to a friend. Somehow, though, your lonely bouquet will find it's way to a happy home.
Ida Blooms partnered with three local female entrepreneurs to bring the Lonely Bouquet project to SF. On June 21, Annie dropped 9 bouquets around the city while Jodee Debes Photography documented the day to share the love with our digital friends. Ribbons were hand dyed by Virginia at LVR Naturals and the custom water color was made by Kendra at Creatures Of.
The SF Craft Spirits Carnival is the who’s who of alcohol vendors. Surrounded by huge competitors with massive marketing budgets, Pomp + Whimsy and Lo-Fi Appertifs approached Ida Blooms looking for a unique and affordable idea for their joint booth.
This custom install by Ida Blooms evoked a garden-whimsy environment and contributed to both brands’ achieving top-carnival-sales.
Zinzi and Brian got married on May 26th at Jack London Historic Park in Sonoma. The couple wanted to evoke a romantic, wild feel, “dripping in flowers.”
Ida Blooms created 32+ table arrangements; five unique bridesmaids’ bouquets, each featuring one of the maid’s favorite flowers; one extra-large bridal bouquet for Zinzi, incorporating her bridesmaids’ favorite flowers; plus greenery for the head table and beautiful dessert by Natty Cakes.
